TransOceana is a global leader in the design and implementation of PC-based DSC/NBDP /NAVTEX and radio control software components for use in GMDSS A1/A2/A3 shore stations, vessels and monitoring stations. We also provide engineering services for  complete systems design, networking multiple radio sites, installation and training and custom communications
engineering solutions. TransOceana makes state of the art maritime technology available at costs within the budget of even small countries.

What We Do

DSC Software Components

PC-based MF/HF and VHF DSC Encoders, Decoders, Loggers, Report Generators, Statistics, Analyzers, and Networking components. Our components can operate completely stand alone on a single PC or be networked across multiple workstations on a LAN or across the internet using Virtual Private Networks for security. We can integrate our components into an existing station's hardware and software, or install a completely stand alone system.  Our software components are extremely reliable with an MTBF exceeding 10,000 hours.

DSC Hardware Components

We can supply fully integrated MF/HF and VHF Transceivers, Receivers, Transmitters, Antennas, ATU's, Desktop PC's, and Networking components. We provide low cost kits for entry level stations, or we can integrate our components into existing, much larger RF receivers and transmitters at separate sites over networks.

OEM/VAR

We provide specialized versions of all our components for integration into your products and services. Our components can be private labeled to be added to your product line.

Custom Engineering

 With more than 20 years experience in digital signal processing, wireless networks and communications, we can assist you in your projects to develop leading edge solutions. Our engineering team has been involved in the design, development and installation and upgrade of several custom GMDSS DSC shore stations.

DSC Equipment testing

Our software components have been used in many instances to test or verify various DSC radios and equipment to insure they meet the specifications.  Because our decoders can decode and analyze down to the bit level we can find errors in DSC equipment before they are released to manufacturing or for regression testing if changes are made later on.
